El Trampolí neix l’any 2000 de la necessitat que observen germans i amics de persones amb discapacitat psíquica, de donar a aquest col·lectiu les eines necessàries per ajudar-los a integrar-se plenament en la societat i de buscar respostes satisfactòries en tots els àmbits de la seva vida.
Des d’aleshores, El Trampolí treballa per realitzar activitats amb la voluntat i objectiu d’estimular el creixement personal de les persones amb discapacitat psíquica i la seva integració social, donant suport i duent a terme iniciatives per augmentar l’autonomia de cada persona dins de l’àmbit privat, de l’habitatge, de les relacions amb el seu entorn més immediat, en l’àmbit laboral, cultural, d’oci i del medi ambient per atendre així aspectes vitals per al benestar dels discapacitats psíquics.
El nostre centre s’ha anat configurant com una opció formativa, ocupacional i laboral per a les persones amb discapacitat intel·lectual, permetent el fet de donar un salt qualitatiu en la concepció de les persones amb discapacitat intel·lectual en el seu futur paper com a possible treballador.
La nostre missió és plantejar un funcionament on la persona amb discapacitat intel·lectual sigui la protagonista del propi projecte de vida: Treballant per la igualtat de drets i oportunitats, acompanyant a les persones en els seus propis projectes de vida, donant-los el suport necessari per a que puguin respondre a les exigències de l’entorn.
El canal de comunicació d’El Trampolí. Espai on la inclusió i la llibertat d’expressió són protagonistes. Aprendran a utilitzar càmeres, editar vídeos, dissenyar formats i treballar en equip, demostrant que les persones amb discapacitat intel·lectual tenen molt a aportar al món de la televisió i dels mitjans de comunicació.
La companyia de teatre El Trampolí està format per actors i actrius amb diferents graus de discapacitat psíquica (persones amb diferents necessitats de recolzament) i voluntaris. Va néixer l´any 2000 i des de llavors no ha parat de representar per Catalunya, l´estat Espanyol i a l’estranger.
Avui en dia l’envelliment és un problema de gran importància, i també afectarà al nostre centre. Una bona part dels nostres usuaris actuals ja tenen més de 55 anys, i el nombre de usuaris grans creix cada any. Conscient de les seves diferents necessitats hem muntat un projecte de l’entitat: “Jo també participo”.
